Who We Are

A collective built
for working performers.

Our Story

Casting is a craft.
We treat it like one.

Footlight began in a rehearsal room with borrowed lights and a simple frustration: talented performers losing work to bad tapes, weak headshots and rooms that never gave them a fair read. So we built the studio we wished existed — coaching, photography, reels and casting under one roof.

  • Camera-ready coaching from working directors, not theorists.
  • Headshots and reels directed like the productions they feed.
  • Shortlists for brands and theatres in days, not weeks.

Process

From first read to final booking.

01

The Read

We meet the performer or the brief. Sides are broken down, looks are planned, and every choice is tested on camera before it counts.

02

The Room

Directed sessions — coaching, headshots or full casting days — run like real productions: on time, on brief, and calm under pressure.

03

The Reel

Everything is cut for use: tapes directors watch to the end, selects agents can send, and shortlists clients can sign off same-day.
